The Coalition for Educational Excellence serves school districts across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.
We believe transformation begins with a focus on educational excellence for all students. We support districts through professional learning and thought partnership as they transform their systems to prepare every student for success in college, careers, and beyond. We harness the power of collaboration, shared learning, and lived experiences to inform the reimagination of school systems.
The Coalition is part of Catalyst @ Penn GSE, a center for global education innovation at the Penn Graduate School of Education.
Meet the team
Director Tomea Sippio-Smith and Associate Director Dr. Dayna Muñiz lead the Coalition for Educational Excellence at Catalyst @ Penn GSE at the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education. Together, they provide innovative programming, resources, research-based training, technical assistance and consulting to school district leaders, educators, and staff in the mid-Atlantic region.
